Garment Manufacturing (CMT – Cut, Make & Trim)
Overview
Garment manufacturing is the core operational strength of Sea Cross Apparel. Our CMT (Cut, Make & Trim) services are structured to deliver consistent quality, efficient production flow, and on-time delivery for international buyers. From fabric preparation to ready-for-sewing components, every stage is managed with precision and accountability.
We work closely with buyer tech packs, approved samples, and timelines to ensure production accuracy and scalability.

Our Garment Manufacturing Services
Our CMT services cover the complete preparation phase before sewing, including:
- Fabric inspection and relaxation
- Pattern making and size grading
- Marker planning for fabric optimization
- Cutting operations
- Bundling and line feeding preparation
These services ensure smooth downstream sewing and finishing processes.
Our Process
1. Fabric Inspection & Relaxation
Upon receipt, fabric is inspected for defects related to weaving, dyeing, or finishing. Approved fabric is then relaxed for 12 to 24 hours to release tension and stabilize dimensions, ensuring accurate cutting and fit consistency.
2. Pattern Making
Master patterns are developed based on buyer tech packs, design sketches, or reference samples. Patterns are created with attention to construction details, seam allowances, and garment fit.
3. Size Grading
Approved master patterns are graded into the required size range while maintaining proportional accuracy and fit balance across all sizes.
4. Marker Making
Markers are prepared using optimized layout techniques to maximize fabric utilization and minimize waste. Efficient marker planning directly contributes to cost control and production efficiency.
5. Cutting Operations
Fabric layers are spread on cutting tables and cut using manual or automated cutting machines depending on order volume and complexity. Cutting accuracy is continuously monitored to ensure clean edges and dimensional precision.
6. Bundling & Preparation for Sewing
Cut components are bundled by size, color, and style. Each bundle is clearly identified to ensure smooth line feeding and traceability during sewing operations.
Quality Assurance
Quality checks are performed at every stage of the CMT process. Fabric defects, pattern accuracy, cutting precision, and bundle integrity are verified to prevent downstream production issues.
